So this weekend has been excellent for me. I made a tun more money at work than expected because it's WAY TOO FREAKIN' HOT for patios and everyone came to us looking for the AC!! Also, I scored a free slow cooker from my sister and a free BED from my ex-bf.
My ex got a SWEET job and is moving to Miami tomorrow! His parents already live there so he already has a bed down there. He was just going to throw his (practically new) queen-sized bed out when poor lil me is sleeping on a futon. BUT I knocked some sense into him and I'm very excited to sleep in it and see if it's a comfy as he says!!
My sister's old roommate left her slow cooker (and my sis already had one of her own) soo she gave me the second one!!! While grocery shopping today I bought tuns of great ingredients to make jambalaya (cooking as I type), beef vegetable soup and chili!! If I make enough of these dishes I should be set for the next couple weeks!!! It is definitely going to help me with my challenge to not eat out!
